Another big step of our van build is complete, as we have insulated the entire van and pre-wired our electrical!
We insulated the van using 3M Thinsulate and used a contact adhesive on both surfaces. This process involved a lot of measuring and re-measuring to cut the Thinsulate as precise as we could for all sections.
We pre-wired the van for all our electrical needs, which are 6 puck lights, 2 MaxxAir fans, a water pump for the sink, and an additional outlet. All of this is wired through the fuse box and connected to our Goal Zero Yeti power station, which will be the source of all the power needed for the van. We decided against solar panels for now because we are not living full-time in the van, but this battery gives us the option to charge using solar if needed.
